The efficiency and cost control for private heat pumps<\/strong> <\/h6>\n\n\n\n

The independent WP-Cockpit initiative is stepping up to ensure that heat pumps can adequately fulfill their important role in the energy system of the future. For the control of heating costs and emissions, the WP-Cockpit, which has been successfully introduced in Switzerland, will also be made available free of charge to private households in Germany from 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Energy Agency St. Gallen, the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE and the Energy Efficiency Foundation have contributed their many years of experience in the quality assurance of heat pumps to the development of the app. A certified metering set was coordinated with Engelmann Sensor GmbH for automatic meter reading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The measurement results collected with the WP-cockpit app are validated and made available anonymously to enable all interested parties to evaluate and optimize the efficiency of heat pumps on the basis of the data obtained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Energy Agency St. Gallen, the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE and the Energy Efficiency Foundation provide the heat-pump-check free of charge for end users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The non-profit development of the app is carried out with the help of donations and volunteer work in accordance with the code of the sustainable data platform. Your support ensures the independent further development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
